One of the largest Guardians of Nature, Naga-Mundu is the Lord of All Reptiles and has many epithets, including "The World Lizard", or "Father of Dragons". There is a legend in the country of East Timor, among the tribal peoples who live there, that the entire island of Timor is one giant crocodile. There are also exists legends across Australia of a beast known as the Rainbow Serpent. That is Naga-Mundu in a nutshell. A ginormous crocodile thousands of miles long with a giant turtle shell, hair full of snakes, and a massive serpentine tail with all the colors of the rainbow. When he emerged from beneath Timor, the entire island began to move, and was eventually destroyed before sinking beneath the waves. His emergence triggered severe earthquakes across Indonesia, Malaysia, several Pacific Islands, and Australia, followed by massive tidal waves that flooded many coastal cities. Several volcanoes, including Lake Tambora, erupted as result of Naga-Mundu, plunging the Earth into a mild volcanic winter that cooled the planet, considerably reducing the deleterious effects of global warming. From there, Naga-Mundu wiped out many Australian cities and crushed New Zealand. In this drawing its depicted slamming its tail at point blank range near Sydney, Australia, killing millions of people in one fell swoop.
